As a family business, helping and supporting other people is a matter dear to our hearts. From education to training, youth or family support, pharmaceutical or health care - our goal and desire is to give people strength to cope with every situation in life. And help people to help themselves. We are currently supporting Pharmacists without Borders as well as two regional projects.
Pharmacists without borders
We have been supporting Pharmacists without Borders with an annual fundraising campaign since autumn 2017. Each year, we choose a product from our Em‑eukal premium cough drop range for this purpose. The charitable relief organisation receives seven cents for every campaign bag sold in the pharmacies. In 2018, we were able to donate a five-figure sum to Pharmacists without Borders. Flavoursome and effective!
KontaktCafé Adelsdorf
In November 2016, we helped the Catholic relief, development and social service organisation "Caritas Erlangen" to open the KontaktCafé Adelsdorf, a place for new encounters. The KontaktCafé hosts short lectures on a variety of topics and gives people the chance to learn something new or simply make new contacts and exchange views and experiences. The aim of the project is to create a social meeting place in the municipality and allow every citizen in Adelsdorf to take part in the community’s social life.
"Trommelpower" – music for more togetherness
"Trommelpower" or drum power is a musical improvisation project for the prevention of violence and personal development funded by the Special Children’s Fund of the Erlangen civic trust. It is carried out at schools in Erlangen and encourages mutual respect and social integration as well as nurturing the children's self-esteem.
